2022 MTNA Summit

VMTA Board member, Michael Sitton, attended the 2022 Summit, held at MTNA headquarters in Cincinnatti Ohio, on September 30. The goals of the meeting are to build connections with state associations, to promote their long-term stability, and to determine MTNA’s role in the future of the music teaching profession. Michael reported that there was lively discussion about the MTNA National Conference, Membership recruitment, Diversity, and Resources available to MTNA members. During the break, representatives from Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts posed for the above photo, which also shows the quilt offerings of Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire that are on display in the Cincinnatti offices.
